PayPal allows any business or consumer to securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments online. Its network builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards to create a global, real-time payment solution. They deliver a product ideally suited for small businesses, online merchants, individuals and others currently underserved by traditional payment mechanisms. PayPal is one of the largest online businesses in the world.
Following the centralisation of the Paypal marketing function and continued growth globally, the Marketing and Design team required a robust project management system. A worldwide company with over 230 million accounts and numerous offices needs dynamic and ever evolving systems and online portals.
PayPal approached Rize Design to assist in the development of online functionalities and updates to their project management system. We liaised closely with the head marketing team for EMEA in London, documenting key business rules and processes. The Rize team (both in Australia and the UK) we were able to develop additional features required to enhance the teams works process and reporting.
Rize has taken responsibility for the development of the project management tool and continues to provide ongoing support and assistance with additional builds and feature developments. Through our work for PayPal and due to the quality of our service we have had the opportunity to expand the range of services we provide to them. We now provide design and network management across the group and to the PayPal parent company Ebay.
Additionally we develop page updates and various functionalities for the PayPal site, mindful to accommodate the high volume of traffic and maintain site security.
